German as a Foreign Language (DaF) for Incomings students

Which language course can be taken?
  • maximum 1 free-of-charge language level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) with a final examination
  • based on student´s prior language competence (determined via a placement test)
  • absolute beginners can register in A1.1 without taking the placement test
  • 1 language level consists of Part 1 (4 hours per week) and Part 2 (4 hours per week), split over 2 semesters.

Where can I find the current course offer?
  • The course offer can be found in LSF.

 

How do I register for the language courses?
  • Course registration takes place via the Language Centre´s Moodle.
  • The OVGU account is required for logging in.
  • Enrolment begins one week before the start of the lecture period. The exact enrolment dates can be found on the Language Centre´s homepage.
