Applied Linguistics: Principals of rhetoric—Seeing the wood through the trees

The aim of this course is to present the scope of public speaking, and to understand the dilemmas of oral communication.

Understanding the fundamental processes communication, and how to assess them, is the object of this course. We also examine the question of how speech patterns and body language can influence conversation partners. This is a course in which you will become more conscious of yourself, and so more confidently interact with communication partners in the future
