Spanish: General course information
Hola y bienvenidos.
Thank you for your interest in a Spanish course at the Language Centre. This course is available to all members of the university; in the case of limited places, students take precedence.
Our courses take place at a university level, which means the demands may more intensive than you might be used to from other educational institutes. We want to make rapid progress, so please plan for regular attendance and self study.
We would like to ask students with prior knowledge of Spanish to choose the appropriate level of study themselves, according to the entrance requirements, or to attend a placement test / interview. A placement interview is required for students who wish to join a course during an exam semester (UI.3 or UII.3). For such interviews, please prepare yourself beforehand, and bring a text of your own composition with you--the topic could be “El español y yo“.
