Chinese: A1—Course description
- Speaking and listening comprehension; simple Chinese characters and the basic structure; elementary grammar; common sentences and expressions; and some cultural knowledge.
- The core learning objectives of this course are the basic concepts and simple sentence structures which are used in everyday conversation in Chinese. These are required in more advanced Chinese language courses.
- After completing the course, participants can understand and engage in simple everyday conversations, and read and write some of the most commonly used Chinese characters.
