Applied Linguistics: General information
- These courses are available to students and staff of the OvGU.
- The topics are organised as follows: principles of rhetoric; public speaking; voice training, elocution, and phonetics.
- The teaching is based on exercises, video analysis, and group feedback.
- Each course runs for two hours per week, with a maximum of 12 participants.
- As non-technical elective courses, the responsibility for assigning Credit Points lies with the respective faculty. For BA students of the Faculty of Humanities, two CP may be awarded for regular attendance, active participation, and successfully passing a progress test.
